Movies have always been more than just entertainment. Over the years I've built a collection of DVDs, Blu-rays, and digital titles covering a wide range of genres, actors, directors, and classic films.
As the collection grew, I wanted a better way to organise it, browse it, and enjoy it without being tied to a single catalogue program.

📀 A Collection That Keeps Growing
Like many collectors, I originally used Ant Movie Catalog to maintain my collection. It served me well for many years, but eventually I wanted something that could be viewed from any computer or device without installing special software. It let my family and friends see what movies I had so they could organise to borrow some and I kept a record of what went where.
Rather than starting from scratch, I found an older web-based movie collection project that was no longer functioning correctly. Over time I repaired it, modernised it, added new features, fixed long-standing problems, and continued developing it into the application it is today.
The application continues to work alongside Ant Movie Catalog by importing its exported database and presenting the information in a modern, searchable web interface.
The collection remains yours, while the way you browse and enjoy it becomes far more flexible.
